We promised that we’d follow up our last post on Trust by Modou with our thoughts after we’d been to the restaurant. We visited yesterday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed the full experience from start to finish.
5-course tasting menu
Each course was delicious, all offering really refreshing flavours. It was a bit bizarre not having to pick what you were eating, but also very fun! There was no need to search the menu for ages deliberating what to order, instead you could just gab away with your drink and await your courses being brought to your table.

Note that you can pair drinks with the courses if you opt for this. We just ordered some beers to drink alongside our food, and from their limited sides menu, we got sourdough bread and Brie cheese.
Guess the menu
This is where the dining concept becomes and dining experience. After eating each of your courses, you get a sheet to fill out what you thought each course was. In the centre of your table, there is a sealed envelope which you open at the end and you can compare your thoughts against what each course actually was. This is a laugh, especially when you’re miles off!
Our rating
We loved this whole experience and definitely recommend it to our readers. The food was delicious and the concept where you have no menu and guess your courses was very creative. In fact, it actually got us talking with other tables nearby as we were served our courses at pretty much the same time. We’d give it a 9.5/10 overall ⭐️

We’d really recommend this dining experience. We found the price really affordable and the staff were super friendly. Each dish was lovely and you could really appreciate the combination of flavours.
